APPOINTMENT OF HWANGE FC COACH
Hwange Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Bigboy Mawiwi as the new head coach with effect from 19 July 2017.
Mawiwi replaces head coach Nation Dube who parted ways with the club last week together with his assistant Mebelo Njekwa.
In his acceptance speech at the unveiling ceremony at the Estates boardroom, Mawiwi produced to work hard to ensure that Hwange FC, who are currently in the relegation zone in the Premier league, stays afloat and is confident that with teamwork that feat can be achieved.
He also alluded to the fact he is impressed with the unity of purpose within the club as a whole and with such a prevailing environment, he would devote all his energy and capabilities to ensure he would not disappoint the Hwange supporters.
The club hierarchy also highlighted to the new coach that results are of paramount importance for the team to stay afloat but the Hwange executive would fully support the new coach in his endevours.
